Place an Olet without a Defined Tap Port

Select an option from the Olets gallery. The Place Component dialog displays.

Note: If there is more than one record in the specification that meets the criteria, you are prompted to select a specific record from the Spec Record Selection dialog.

Define the component settings in the Place Component dialog.

Pick the component the olet is to be placed on.

Usually when you pick a component, the cursor will snap to the closest port.

Use the mouse to pick a specific point on the pipe component to place the olet.

Use the mouse to pick a rotation direction for the olet. You may have to change the view plane to get the correct rotation.

The olet is placed on the component.
